Support for Community Enterprise

From time to time people involved in starting, developing and managing community enterprises need support, whether it is general business advice, help finding finance or an architect to design a building.

Specialist agencies Co-operative Futures, Business Link Gloucestershire and the Social Enterprise Centre provide general business advice and training.

Other public and voluntary sector agencies such as council's for voluntary service, local authorities, etc provide help with particular issues.

There are also a number of private firms with experience of working with community enterprises.

Co-operative Futures is a policy and development organisation supporting the co-operative, mutual and social enterprise sector across Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire.
