childcare
Hundreds
of community enterprises provide childcare services
throughout Gloucestershire. They range from baby
and toddler groups to out-of-school clubs. They
play a major part in sustaining local communities,
contributing to the county's economic success
and the elimination of child poverty and social
exclusion.
PATA is a community enterprise
providing support services to childcare providers.
It serves the private and public sector but most
of its members are also community enterprises.
Over the years, PATA has developed rapidly, and
is now working with more than 20,000 children
and their families in over 530 settings through
its eight branches in the county.
